Too many wasted chances as the Robins fail to fightback from an early two goal deficit.

Bracknell Town fell to defeat at home for the first time since October as Plymouth Parkway picked up their second consecutive victory, courtesy of early goals by Callum Hall and Andrew Neal. Despite the hosts starting the game on top with multiple chances at goal, Plymouth were the team off the mark in the early stages against the run of play. Goals from Callum Hall and Andrew Neal in quick succession saw the visitors go two goals up before the 15th minute, leaving the Robins stunned.

Regardless of the deficit, Bracknell kept applying the pressure on Plymouth, but chances were wasted, and the hosts had no goal to show for their efforts. Their best chance came when Jordan Esprit fired from close range but a reaction save from Luke McCormick prevented Bracknell a goal back, and the Robins went into half time with yet another 2 goal disadvantage to come back from.

Similarly to the first half, Bracknell came out swinging, yet again chances went amiss. 2 back-to-back goal line clearances and a strike onto the crossbar from Seb Bowerman was the closest Bracknell could get to finding the back of the net. As full time grew closer, Plymouth’s defending continued to be solid as Bracknell kept giving it their all, but as the full-time whistle blew, it came down to a case of one team being more clinical with their chances.
