The Robins suffer third consecutive defeat as Gosport takie the points nback down to the south coast

Bracknell Town fell to their third loss in a row, courtesy of two unanswered goals from Singerr and Frenandes. Chances fell to both teams in the opening stages of the game, but neither team could capitalise on them. Other than that, the first half hour didn’t see too much goalmouth action. Immediately after the half hour mark, a Bracknell free kick went to waste, which led to Singerr finding himself through on goal, and he converted past Oualah to give the visitors the lead. Shortly after, Tarbuck’s half volley went narrowly wide, and they came close again from the resulting corner, but the ball was cleared just before it crossed the line. Mazzone had a chance for the equalizer when he got onto the end of a good cross, but couldn’t keep his header under the bar.

Bracknell started the second half positively, putting pressure on their opponents. Bracknell’s efforts for an equaliser couldn’t seem to find the back of the net as time ticked on, despite seeing much of the ball and chances in the second half. Gosport had the chance to put the game to bed with less than 10 minutes to go, but strong defending by Bracknell broke down the dangerous counterattack, and as the game entered the dying embers, Bracknell couldn’t convert from a corner, and in lightning speed, Fernandes was through on goal alone. He took it around Oualah and scored into the open net, to secure the three points for Gosport.
