Minhas and Abisogun were on top form as Chertsey cruised to victory, edging them closer to a playoff spot.

Chertsey started out strongest with multiple close attempts at goal in the early stages, all leading up to the opening goal via Abosigun a quarter of an hour in, who made the most of the space he was given and drove his shot low past Oualah. 8 minutes later, Chertsey had the second. Minhas got onto the end of Abisogun’s cross and headed in from close range. Chertsey came close to a third, but Murphy headed a bouncing ball off the line, however Chertsey did get a three-goal lead, when Berry cut in and curled his shot sweetly into the bottom corner, giving Chertsey a comfortable advantage going into the interval.

The second 45 didn’t have quite the eventful start as the first, until Coomes was played in on goal and rifled his effort past Wynne-Roberts on the hour mark giving the hosts a way back into the game. Bracknell did improve in the second half looking more promising in attack, and while a mistake at the back was almost costly for Bracknell, their efforts at goal were rewarded when McDowell put a cross in which Esprit converted with his head, putting pressure on Chertsey to see out the game. However, 3 minutes later, Minhas got his second goal for the Curfews with a simple finish from close range, putting the game to bed and ensuring Chertsey the three points on the road.
