Bracknell Town FC – First Team Squad and Club Update
First Team Squad and Club Update
Bracknell Town can provide supporters with an update on our first team squad, recent additions, player rehabilitation and departures.
Recent Additions:
Kie Plumley
Kie joins from Ascot United, having also spent time at Gosport Borough earlier this season. He brings experience from professional football environments, including Oxford United and Manchester United’s U21 setup during Erik ten Hag’s time at the club.
Gio Clarke
Gio joins on dual registration with Lewes FC, adding depth and competition in the goalkeeping department. We welcome Gio to the Robins and look forward to supporting his continued development.
James Taylor
James joined Bracknell after spending time at Hayes & Yeading United this season. He brings valuable experience and a record of recent promotion success, including helping Uxbridge reach Step 3 and being part of Harborough Town’s title winning squad.
Charlie Stallard
Charlie joins from Uxbridge and has already made his mark in his first few appearances for the Robins. A solid, no nonsense left back, he brings strength and reliability to the defence while being willing to get forward and support the attack when required.
Casey Bocarro
Casey joins from Basingstoke Town, having previously enjoyed two seasons at Uxbridge. The versatile defender reunites with familiar faces in CJ Fearn, Josh Boorn and James Taylor as he settles into the squad.
Josh Brooking
Josh joins from Slough Town following a difficult couple of seasons with injuries. Having developed at Chelsea and made appearances for Aldershot Town and Dorking Wanderers, he brings valuable experience as he looks to build a consistent run of football with the Robins.
Youssef Yahyaoui and Nima Ghandali
Youssef and Nima both impressed after coming off the bench against Thatcham Town. With backgrounds in the academies at QPR and West Ham United respectively, the youngsters add further depth and potential to the squad. We are also exploring dual registration opportunities at Step 4 for both players, allowing them to gain valuable senior minutes alongside their continued integration into our first team.
Player Rehabilitation and Injury News:
Great Evans
We signed Great with a clear understanding that he was still working through his rehabilitation towards full match fitness. Throughout that process, the club has supported him with assistance from GoPerform, the specialist injury rehabilitation clinic in Reading. His anticipated return was always towards the middle to end of October, and we are looking forward to seeing him back in action over the coming weeks. Great has already been a fantastic addition to the dressing room. He is working hard to regain his fitness and strength, and we know he is eager to show Robins supporters what he can bring on the pitch.
Anthony Cheshire
Chesh has been gaining valuable minutes through his dual registration with Ashford Town (Middlesex) as he works towards full match sharpness. We have received excellent feedback from Ashford’s management team and would like to thank Tuffs and his staff for looking after him so well.
