Carl confirms first team backroom staff

Bracknell Town FC are delighted to confirm Carl Davies’ first-team backroom staff ahead of the 2026/27 Southern League Premier South campaign.

With pre-season preparations now underway, Davies has assembled a strong and experienced support team as the Robins continue building towards the new season.

Following a positive first season together, Davies has retained the core of his management team while adding further expertise to the coaching staff. The backroom team will play a vital role both on and off the pitch as Bracknell Town look ahead to the new campaign.

Sean Miles – Assistant Manager

After forming a strong partnership during their first season together at Bottom Meadow, Sean Miles continues as Assistant Manager for the 2026/27 campaign.

Carl Davies said: “I am delighted to be sharing the dugout with Sean again this year. He has become one of my best friends; his energy and enthusiasm is contagious. He’s someone I speak to several times every day and someone I trust implicitly. Add to that the fact that he’s probably one of the best coaches around, we are very lucky to have him and I look forward to another fun-filled season with him by my side.”

Shaine Thomson – Strength & Conditioning & Set Piece Coach

Joining the management team ahead of the new season is Shaine Thomson, who will oversee the club’s strength and conditioning programme while also taking responsibility for set pieces.

Davies commented: “Shaine is a new addition to the management team but someone I’ve got to know quite well over the last season. He has a great football brain and an impressive CV within the strength and conditioning world. He will add so much to this team with his experience and football knowledge. Welcome to the Robins, Shaine.”

Hannah Britton – Lead Sports Therapist

After combining her university studies with her role at the club last season, Hannah Britton returns as Lead Sports Therapist on a full-time basis following the completion of her degree.

Davies said: “I am delighted to welcome Hannah back for the 2026/27 season. Hannah is no stranger to the club, having spent last season joining up with us whenever she could while juggling university with football. Hannah has now completed her degree and will be with us for every session. Another fantastic addition for us. She’s young, extremely enthusiastic and the players are in very safe and capable hands. Welcome back, Hannah.”

Liam Day – Kit Manager

A familiar face around Bottom Meadow, Liam Day continues in his role as Kit Manager for another campaign.

Davies added: “Where do I start with Lammy? The guy needs no introduction. He’s a club stalwart, a Robin through and through and he’s been a pal of mine for a very long time. He’s a fan favourite and a popular figure with the players. You won’t find a more dedicated man than Liam. The club is extremely fortunate to have him and we are very grateful for everything he does. Welcome back, Lammy.”

Jack Arthur – Performance Analyst

Jack Arthur also returns for the new season, continuing his role as Performance Analyst after an outstanding contribution throughout last campaign.

Davies said: “I am delighted to say Jack is staying with us this season. He works tirelessly around the clock and has a wealth of knowledge for someone as young as he is. He is invaluable to myself and Sean and he will play a massive part in what we are trying to achieve. Welcome back, Jack.”

With the first-team backroom staff now confirmed, preparations continue at Bottom Meadow as the Robins gear up for the start of the 2026/27 Southern League Premier South season.

Everyone at Bracknell Town FC would like to welcome Shaine to the club and welcome back Sean, Hannah, Liam and Jack. We look forward to seeing Carl Davies and his staff lead the Robins into another exciting campaign.
