Binfield FC boss Mark Tallentire believe his Binfield side have what it takes to become the only step 4 club in the area this season by winning promotion.
‘Tally’ has moved quickly to replace the losses of Luke Williams to Hayes & Yeading United and Garry Sargeant and now believes his side can improve on last seasons second place. The Moles boss has brought in Callum Whitty from Bracknell Town, as well as right-back Dan Jewell and winger Adam Jeffrey have from Woodley Town and centre-half Mike Hancock from Reading Town.
In addition central midfielder Nick Bateman has switched from local rivals Wokingham & Emmbrook.
In a report in this weeks Bracknell Forest Standard, Tallentire said: “I will have my work cut out to keep everyne happy, but I’ve got to think about what we are trying to achieve this year and to do that I need a good squad.
“I was a bit coy about it last year and I’m not one for making big predictions, but there is an air of expectation on our shoulders to really make a go of getting out of this league.
“It will be tough, though, because a lot of teams have improved.”
