Hellenic League round-up: 9th August

Two games took place in the Premier Division last night, both finishing 2-0 to the away side.

Ardley United began their campaign with a win at Cheltenham Saracens and Slimbridge won by the same score at Shrivenham.

In Division 1 East, Bracknell Town were 4-1 winners at Thatcham Town Reserves to get their season off to a flying start. Dudley’s full report on that match is here.

In Division 1 West on Tuesday night, Fairford Town got over their relegation with a 1-0 win at Old Woodstock Town and Wootton Bassett Town won 2-0 at Malmesbury Victoria.

Elsewhere in other news, congratulations to former Robin Ben Knight who scored on his debut in a 4-1 defeat for new side Ascot United at Marlow.
