It’s all change at Combined Counties Premier side Windsor FC just a few games into the new season after Director Kevin Stott announced the complete removal of playing budget and manager Keith Scott resigned.
The news is a blow to the Royalists who only reformed their club at the start of last season after previous incarnation Windsor & Eton Football Club was wound up in 2011.
Stott claims the club ‘lost it’s way’ according to the Maidenhead Advertiser and intends to invest the budget instead in club infrastructure.
The founding director also hopes to have a new manager in place in by the time Windsor face Egham Town on 10th September.
