Bracknell Town Football Club founded in 1896 and now in 2016/17 we have began a new era with the biggest change in our clubs history. Larges Lane home of BTFC since the 1930’s has seen a major upgrade with the installation of the latest state-of-the-art 3g pitch, new clubhouse and changing facilities. In keeping with this total modernisation we have rebranded our clubs logo.
We have come a long way since the project started and all the efforts have been worthwhile. The 3G pitch is now fully approved and our teams from the Mens 1st Team, Ladies though to our youth teams have all had the opportunity to enjoy their new facility.
Work is still on going to complete the club house and we are moving rapidly in to Phase 2 of the development. If you have not had the chance to see our progress in person, please pop down to The Lane. Keep an eye out for the fixtures.

ROBINS BOW OUT OF FLOODLIT CUP
The Robins suffered their 1st defeat since November as Ardley progress to the next round of the Floodlit Cup with a well deserved victory. A goal from Joe Grant was our only real highlight.
A Crowd of 248 witness The Robins extend their lead to 4 points
With the majority of Hellenic League matches cancelled due to frozen pitches, the new 3G surface at Larges Lane really came in to it own as a very large crowd at the Lane witnessed The Robins secure another 3-0 victory.
This result extended not only our impressive run of league form with our 11th successive victory but more importantly our lead at the top of the table to four points.
Goals: Bowerman, Short & TJ

AN EXCELLENT TEAM PERFORMANCE SEALS VICTORY.
From the first whistle The Robins took control of the match. An early solo goal by Seb followed excellent wing play down the left and he put the Robins into an early lead. Tuffley did not get a look in and we were unlucky not to going in to the break with more that a 1-0 lead.
Tuffley did start the 2nd half brightly but once again the defensive unit more than coped with any potential dangers and Chris Grace was having a very quiet day in goal. It wasn’t long before we regained the momentum and a number of attacks were dealt with by the overworked Tuffley defence. The match was put out of reach when a perfectly placed free kick by TJ gave the keeper no chance as it went in off the right hand post.
The gloss was put on the performance with a late goal by TJ as he found himself clear and his deft chip over the onrushing keeper would be a worth contender for MOTD goal of the month.
The run of victories (14) continue and although the plaudits usually go the the free scoring forwards the foundation of our form throughout the season starts at the back and through midfield. Having such a solid base allows the forward line to play with out any pressure. COYR
