Bracknell Town Ladies romped home in the Arsenal Tournament with an 8-0 win over South African side Marks Parks to seal the cup at Royal Holloway University last night.
The win means the Ladies can’t be caught by Old Actonians who face Marks Parks tonight.
Bracknell Town Ladies almost clinched the Arsenal Tournament Ladies Cup last night at Royal Holloway University, but were held to a draw by Colne Valley Ladies.
The Robins can still win the Cup tonight but need a victory of South African side Marks Park to clinch the trophy, a draw may also do depending on results elsewhere.
An understandably delighted Youth Team manager Steve Jenner was full of praise for his side after they came from two goals down to beat Hayes & Yeading 3-2 in the Arsenal Tournament tonight.
Jenner (pictured), who said he was excited about his squad earlier this week, saw his side come back from the dead with 20 minutes remaining.
Bracknell Town Ladies got their first foray into the Arsenal Tournament at Royal Holloway University off to a flier with three straight victories in their opening games.
The club are competing in the first ladies competition at the tournament since 2008.
Bracknell Town Youth Team opened their 2011 Arsenal Tournament campaign with a 2-1 defeat to East London side Beckenham on Sunday.
The young Robins now face Hayes & Yeading United tomorrow night in their second match at Royal Holloway University (ko 7pm).
Bracknell Town Youth Team and Bracknell Town Ladies take part in the annual Arsenal International Soccer Festival at Royal Holloway University this weekend.
The Festival runs from 23rd to 30th July and features teams from USA, Canada, South Africa, Spain, Egypt, Greece, Bahrain, India, Ireland and Italy amongst others.
