Some way off the Southern League record as well yet, I seem to remember Newport I of W went down having conceeded over 140 goals .......

I do hope beating this is not now the limit of our aspirations for this season ..........

Another 5 players signed Thursday night to follow the 4 who made debuts on Tuesday evening.

3 of the 5 Thursday night signings played yesterday, haven't seen the other 2. To be honest, I can't tell you anything about the 5 newbies.

Throw in Matt Weston and that's 10 new players in a 2 week spell.

We need to gel quickly and start picking up points urgently. Cinderford have 9 points from a possible last 12 whilst AFC Hayes won yesterday and we are starting to get cut adrift at the bottom.

Yes we played well in parts in what was generally a very even game but playing well and picking up points are 2 very different things.

Tuesday night at home to Abingdon will mark a 129 day run without picking up a single point.

It's time to knuckle down and start picking up points. As a team who has only won once all season, we are already 3 wins away from safety and we cannot afford for this to worsen.

Throw some names at me Duds.

Chris Dean came to play for Steve & me at Binfield youth as a 15 yr
old. Was snapped up by Woking academy after trials at Leicester City.
Played for Woking to U-19 level but wasn't offered a contract last
summer. I brought him to pre-season training here but Maidenhead
snapped him up. He moved to Aylesbury for regular football, played
20-odd games & then on to Burnham. Nice lad, great attitude.

Jamel Forde-Small was at Reading as u said earlier. He was loaned
to Farnboro three years ago. Played a couple of minor cup games for
their first team and several for the youth side. I suspect one or two
attitude problems led to him going back to Reading quite quickly. He's
a few years older now of course!

Rob,

I was able to mention a bit about the 4 who made debuts last Tuesday - Chris Dean, Dan Smith, Jamel Forde-Small and Bobby Tong.

The 3 of the newest 5 who played yesterday were Isaac Sedu, Louis Lavers and Maximillian Elliott.

I think that you know Sedu who came from Farnborough / Bisley and I think there is another lad who has come from there also.

The 5th player is a striker called Adam Cusack. who I have a feeling might have phoned the club a few weeks ago (and spoke to me) so I passed his details onto Tuts.

Yes Isaac played for us at Bisley and was top scorer in the Allied
Prem that season. I've been trying to get him to step up for a while.
Again he trained a couple of times pre-season & I asked him to turn
out for the ressies last week before game cancelled. He's very quick &
a natural goalscorer but is unproven at this level.
I know plenty of others who'd fall into the same category!!

Pass.

I can only say who was named in the squad.

I don't know why or where other players were.
