Junior Reports: Bracknell Town U11 Dragons 3 – 1 Sandhurst Town U11 Reds

It was a nice sunny January morning, and the weather was just right for a good game of football writes Gordon McNally

Sandhurst Reds were minus a man, but this was not to be taken for granted. So we kicked off in our new formation, and at first it took the Dragons a bit of time to settle, but after 10 minutes, they started to play like a team who wanted to win.

George was in goal and was doing a outstanding job of keeping the Reds at bay, but just before half time, Sandhurst scored and the half finished with the Reds one goal up.

Pep talk time. Second half started, and the Dragons started to lay the pressure on, and Sandhurst were still putting passes together, but the Dragons stayed in control.

Ed in the middle, and he accepted an assist from Joe, and that was it, he scored. Score One:One.

Not content with this, Kyifer and Jamie put together a shot, second goal. Two:One to the Dragons.

Now the Dragons had the bit between their teeth, and Sandhurst were really laying on the pressure to try and score, but George was not going to have any of it.

Ben and his defence were doing a sterling job at keeping them out of range. Finally, Ed scored a third, and this was it stayed till full time.

WELL DONE DRAGONS, EXCELLENT START TO THE SECOND PART OF THE SEASON !!!!
