Bracknell Town finally got the league win they deserved this afternoon at Holyport, running out 3-1 winners.
The game marked a return to the club for goalkeeper Martin Hutt who took over between the sticks.
Regular number 1 Chris Adams broke his finger several weeks ago but has been playing on with his finger in a splint.
Hutt’s return couldn’t have gone any better though, Dan Sleet hit the bar on 17 mins and moments later Gary Newson scored from Tom Barratt’s long throw.
Ben Knight made it 2-0 on 48 minutes from a penalty he earned, and Harry Swabey gave the Robins their third, again from the spot after Holyport had pulled one back on 77 minutes.
The team and management deserve all the credit for sticking together and working hard. Roll on Tuesday!
Full report to follow.

The correct version of events is in my match report.
I was trying to watch the match, write notes for the match report and then tweet incidents for those not at the match.
We had just struck the crossbar which I wrote about then I was on Twitter. I looked up as Gary headed it in but asked someone who put the ball in and was told ‘the new bloke knocked it in’, hence tweeting the goal as an Adam Pharo.
Sadly, I still only have one pairs of hands!
