Hellenic League round-up: 8th August

The Uhlsport Hellenic League kicked off last night with a bit of a goal fest as two sides registered scores more appropriate to the local Goals Soccer Centre.

Reading Town will be wondering how many they have to score before they get the three points, as despite scoring four, league favourites Witney Town replied with seven.

Equally, Kidlington scored three but were hit for eight by Holyport.

Saturday’s FA Cup visitors Binfield were beaten 1-0 at Wantage Town while Marlow got started with a 4-1 win at home to Ascot United.
