Please read the amended forum rules below and please ensure these are followed.
Any posts not adhering to these rules will be deleted and the user account may be banned if the rules are persistently broken
1) All users must provide a verifiable full name (first name and surname) as their forum user name.
2) All email addresses used when registering new accounts must contain the first name and surname given for that forum name. NB. Acceptable examples are JohnSmith@hotmail.com or john-smith@hotmail.com or smith.john@hotmail.com NB. Email address such as JS2010@hotmail.com or smiffy1@hotmail.com are not acceptable.
3) We will not allow the forum to become in any way detrimental to the running and well-being of Bracknell Town FC. We will not tolerate overt criticism of individuals including those associated with other clubs and League representatives.
4) No posting in capitals - On the Internet, the posting in all capitals is the same as shouting and as such is considered rude and offensive. Threads using only capitals are subject to closing as moderators see fit.
5) Be civil - anyone being abusive, calling names or generally trying to stir up trouble will not be tolerated. If you think someone is wrong it may be because they are new, don't jump on them, think first. If you are repeatedly abusive you will be banned from these forums.
6) No off topic posting - Please keep all off-topic messages to the General Gossip forum, that's what it is there for. Off Topic messages may be moved to General Gossip or deleted if posted in one of the main forums, repeated posting of Off Topic messages can lead to a ban.
7) When posting a news article from another site, you must include a link to the site it has come from and only the intitial (1-2) paragraphs of the article. Any post not following this rule will be edited by a member of the Web Team.
8) Legal ownership of posts - Each message posted is owned by and the opinion of the original poster. Neither Bracknell Town nor its owners or web team are legally responsible for anything posted on these forums.
The web team reserve the right to remove your right to post (temporarily or permanently) should you repeatedly abuse these simple rules. This is a free service, don't ruin it for everyone else. All IP addresses are recorded. If you have a complaint about a particular poster? Let us know, don't do it on the forums.
HOW TO CHANGE YOUR USERNAME
As you will notice, the new forum rules show that all user names must be a full name (first name and surname) and that the corresponding email address must also contain the same first name and surname.
Existing users will have until 17th March 2010 to ensure that their user names and email addresses are changed to follow the new rules.
Next time you log onto the forum, please send a private message to WEB TEAM with your current user name and your real full name and email address and we will make the changes to your account and email you to confirm once completed.
Any existing users who continue to post without notifying us of their real name or who do not advise us before 17th March will have their forum account deleted.
