The BTFC Academy is a full-time education and football programme for student-athletes aged 16–19 years wishing to combine their studies with a full-time professional football environment and become the pinnacle of the already established BTFC youth teams, creating a true player development model.

What you’ll learn

Bracknell Town Football Academy students can choose to study a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Excellence Performance, or a choice of A Levels at Bracknell and Wokingham College.

This exciting two-year programme will teach student athletes the key elements of sports performance.

Student athletes will receive the necessary tuition, in the skills needed, to progress into employment in a variety of sports related careers.

Combining education with the opportunity to gain coaching experience from an active professional coach within the academy, it gives student athletes a unique platform to progress into employment within the sport and leisure sector.

Entry requirements

Four or more GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above including English and maths, and/or a completed Level 1 award
