‘The Games Lounge’ opens in Princess Square on Saturday 28th July, to ensure that shoppers won’t miss any of their favourite events throughout the London 2012 Olympics.
The Games Lounge will open this Saturday at 10am with the chance to have your photograph taken with the Olympic torch from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, courtesy of Coca Cola. The torch will be on site from 10am – 2pm.
Bring your cameras along to capture the moment and send your pictures of you with the torch to firstname.lastname@example.org including your name, age and contact details. Photos will be uploaded to the Love Bracknell Facebook page and the best photo will win a prize.
The Games Lounge will consist of two widescreen televisions provided by Official Worldwide Olympic Partner Panasonic and seating to watch the Olympic events taking place throughout the day. There will also be a drinks machine provided by Coca Cola and Love Coffee will be taking food and drink orders to be delivered to customers in the Lounge.
Gamestation will also be providing computer consoles where you can play Sega’s ‘London 2012 – The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games’ with the highest scores on the opening day winning prizes.
Entry to The Games Lounge is free when showing a receipt from a Bracknell town centre retailer for purchases made on that day. Terms of entry apply, please see www.bracknell.com for more details.
Princess Square centre manager Tony Parrott comments, ‘The London 2012 Olympics is obviously a huge event for the UK and we are keen to ensure shoppers don’t miss any of the action without having to postpone their daily shopping trip. The Games Lounge will be open from 10am-5pm every day until Sunday 12th August and is another great reason to come shopping in Bracknell this summer.”
